Hydrogen Bomb Test Witness at Bikini Atoll in the Pacific 1956

I was a witness to the hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll in the Pacific in 1956. When I was a Federal Official in 1950. I served in the Executive Office of the President when Dwight Eisenhower was President and then shortly when JFK was President. I was sent to Bikini Atoll in the Pacific as an official witness to the hydrogen bomb.

Previously when I was a City Official, I witnessed the atom bomb test in Nevada. But there is no comparison between an atom bomb and a hydrogen bomb. For example, the mushroom cloud for the hydrogen bomb was 80 miles across. The top of the mushroom cloud 80 miles wide for the hydrogen bomb, it was a spectacular sight.

This is such an experience to see an atomic hydrogen bomb test in real life and literally witness a huge part of World History!
